my ANAN 100D running fine for years but now the rx relay wont open .. tx is OK (sometimes ) !
i change all the 595 8 bits logic chips who control the relays and the 2 HEX inverter chips ...
a bit better but not stable .. i hear cliks all the time
something is fooling with the relays ...
so now .. im lost ..
do you experience something like that before ...

Re: ANAN 100D troubles
Yannick,
There have been reported instances of relays failing in the ANAN series units. In my 100D this is the relay that is used throughout the design:
https://www.sunhold.com//product_2.php?SNO2=42&SNO3=58&Vcode=106
The photo shows an 0502, but it is the 1202 which is from the same family, just a 12V coil.
As you can see the electrical life is rated at 100,000 cycles, and the mechanical life at 10,000,000 cycles.
You would have to sit down and figure out how many PTT cycles your relays have seen. However, if you are a CW operator it could be a VERY large amount in only a year.
For example, if you figure 2 hours of operation per day, and 60 PTT presses per hour, time maybe 300 days a year, that's 36,000 relay cycles per year. It would only take three years at that rate of operation to go over 100,000 cycles.

The second ADC can ONLY access the separate RX2 port.
Re: ANAN 100D troubles
Last week i solve a problem in my 100D. It was the SMA 90 degrees connector in the Angelia board. It is in a forced position with the cable from the RF board. The connector seem good at a eye inspection but it fail in RX time to time. I solder the body of the connector with a heavy iron and from that all is OK. This only afect in RX1.
