Auto Power on not working

Just installed Thetis 2.10.3.5 as well as Protocol 2 Firmware 2.2.2. Everything installed with no errors. However, checking the Auto Power on at Startup box under Settings/General/Options/Options-2 seems to no have any effect. That is, the radio does not power on when I start Thetis.
My radio is a 7000DLEMk2, low s/n. Does the auto power on no work with this radio?

Everything works perfectly.

Are you running the 7000DLEMk2? If so, which version of the radio? Mine is one of the very early ones. Maybe the auto power on only works on later ones?

I think my SDR Hermes board is even earlier...
Works with the first protocol.
No complaints.

Maybe you are a little confused by this feature? when you say "That is, the radio does not power on when I start Thetis." This feature is actually just to auto press the power button within Thetis itself to start the connection with your radio and initiate operation. You still need to press the actual physical power button on the radio itself to switch power on to it, then when you start Thetis with this option enabled you don't need to press the power button within Thetis, i.e. operation of the radio will start as soon as Thetis connects your radio and activates it.

Thank you Terry! So, in other words, it just does the same thing as adding "-autostart" to the desktop program shortcut? It does not have anything to do with powering on the hardware. Now I understand.

Yes, it just starts your radio shortly after Thetis is run without you having to press the power button in Thetis! You have it correct now.

Labeling that button "Power" is one of the least comprehensible things in the history of PowerSDR/Thetis. I made a custom button for my skin that is labeled "Run" and "Stop", a much more accurate representation of the state of the software, and only the software. The button has nothing to do with the firmware or the hardware.
