There was a build of thetis, perhaps it was a fork one of you made, that fixed the record on transmit when using VAC. Do any of you still have the source for this function? Not sure who fixed it. Thx

Thanks for the reply, however I believe you misinterpreted what I'm getting at. There was a version not too long ago within the past several months that I was using, I don't believe it was one of Richie's but perhaps it could have been, that allowed me to record myself the same way I can record others and play them back equally. If I remember correctly it was hosted on Steve's GitHub

How cool is that! MIC Audio pertaining and including VAC audio IN ya? Will test later tonight when back in shack.

You can now record your own audio signal, with and without EQ or CFC.

If you record audio with MIC, you hear your audio without EQ or CFC and with Transmitter Output I/Q you hear yourself as others hear you.

So press PTT, start REC, stop REC and then press PTT and Play to play.

The audio assessment is better than via monitor.

Great, thanks Richie!

It would be nice if it would turn on TX directly on PLAY and go on air. :)

Most awesome! Running the 2.10.3.6 "dev" version just posted by Richie.

No change selecting either recording to MIC Audio or to Transmitter Output IQ.
Press MOX (or VOX) and then press REC button.
Playback by pressing MOX and Play buttons. Perfect monitor playback using studio monitor speakers.
Turn off transmit equalizer and/or CFC. The playback audio accurately portrays the transmitted audio with these modifications. Great way to evaluate the effect any of these adjustments on the transmitted audio.!!!

Thanks! I've wanted to be able to do this since first using Thetis 12 months ago. What a great tool to discover those "perfect" equalizer and CFC settings!

Running G-2 Anan for past 6 months. Keeping the 7000DLE Mark3. Hoping I can find compatible version of 2 protocol firmware for my Mark3 soon.

This works very nicely Richie and as others have already said it makes setting up TX audio for your profiles a breeze.

Thanks for all the bug fixes and amazing features you have brought to Thetis in 2023 and all the best to you for the new year!

Yes indeed, this change made the record/playback function much better. It was usable before, but I wasn't quite coordinated enough to make it happen reliably. This is perfect!

I finally attempted to make this work. Here is my result with a quick play. Am I transmitting 40k wide? Also, there is no way to play from the playlist. Loop does nothing.

The whole Wave File Controls seems to not function properly. Contesting was not efficient from this radio.

I was assuming that this was like a memory playback feature like Icom and Yaesu have, but the playlist plays all files and there is no way to just play one, then a different one for contesting. I would like to have some memory buttons for playback of call sign and then exchange, etc.

Here is my sample of TX 40k wide.

Nope, I listened on another radio and there is no TX.

You have to key the radio before starting the playback.

It does not play anything when the radio is keyed up.
