Odd PTT Issue

I recently rolled back my MK III to protocol 1 but that disappointing but needed change aside, I’m sure my problem was me changing a setting but can’t seem to find it. My issue is when I transmit by using mouse click on MOX all is fine but when I use my foot switch radio goes into transmit but no modulation. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Check the settings in General > H/W Select > Hardware Options.

Also check that the mic is properly plugged in.

Thanks for responding. Running VAC, no mic, really strange just rolled back to protocol 1 wonder if as you stated if I do have a hardware issue.

So it's a VAC problem, then. Are you getting good receive audio via VAC? What exactly does your VAC setup look like (mic, interface, operating system, VAC settings, etc.)?

I don't believe so, VAC works fine when initiating transmit with a mouse click of the MOX button. The issue is when initiating transmit with footswitch, transmit is initiated, however no modulation.

Check your "override" settings in VAC.

Found a similar problem on a friend's radio today. No modulation when using space bar and ok clicking on MOX.

The problem was solved unchecking "Allow SPACE to override/bypass VAC for phone", so, as Scott said, check your override settings.

Yes both of you were correct it was a in override settings, operator error for sure. Thanks all.
