Looks like the new G2 may start shipping as early as next month. The latest communication suggests manufacturing will begin once the new G2 cabinets arrive. There will be lots to learn for all of us. I assume/hope that some group is preparing an updated version of the Thetis manual; plus one for the new ANAN G2 hardware.

Don't hold your breath:) The manuals for the 7000 series are hopelessly out of date too. It's the nature of open source projects that development out paces the docs. It's a good thing we have a helpline called Scott:)
The 8000 looks to be a total bargain if you are wanting QRO. I defy anyone to find a 1kW amp and capable radio combo for the price.
