I follow GitHub although I don't fully understand it.
I noticed today that Laurence Baker made a Pull Request on Ritchie's Repository. Does this mean that Ritchie's code will be incorporated in to Laurence's code or Laurence's code into Ritchie's code?
Pull Request On GitHub
Re: Pull Request On GitHub
The two codebases are being actively merged in preparation for G2 deliveries.
Laurence had already coded the G2 changes. He and Richie were working in parallel and Laurence was using an older, beta version of 2.9.0.8. Now that 2.9.0.8 is final, it's time for a merge.
At this time I believe the plan is for Richie's repo to remain the master repository for Thetis.
Expect to see a version number bump out of this.
The plan is to have this all done in time for G2 deliveries.

Thanks Scott for the excellent explanation. I knew when I saw it that it was good news just didn't know to what extent.
