Getting ready to update from 21k9 to 2.9.0.6. Reading/searching extensively on the Thetis forum but missing something. As I understand the update procedure: backup, uninstall 21k9 and then install 2.9.0.6 as downloaded from github; seems clear enough. Where my understanding seems to fail is how to handle skins. I am using the IK3VIG skins which were the latest version when 21k9 became available. I see on github that Richie has provided a link to his IK3VIG skins which is: https://bit.ly/3xO93vr. Not clear if I need to download and install these skins with 2.9.0.6, or if the currently installed skins will carry over. Also, this link produces a "Blocked" message in my browser with no obvious way to defeat if that is the correct thing to do.
21k9 working well so want to be careful not to mess things up. Any guidance appreciated.

Re: Updating to Thetis 2.9.0.6
You can click ion this link and it will download an app that will load all skins that are available from several different contributors. It work perfectly for me This is the link https://github.com/DH1KLM/Thetis-2.9.0-Red-Pitaya-DH1KLM/releases/download/v2.9.0.6-RED-PITAYA-Edition/OpenHPSDR_Skins_big.exe
It will install and write over any skin you may already have. It loads all the skins available at this time. If you have any customized skins
it may write of the top of those.

Does this include the IK3VIG skins? I found this post/link in my searching however it does not explicitly mention the IK3VIG skins.

Re: Updating to Thetis 2.9.0.6
RB,
Here is the topic that introduced the app. It states that the skins were provided by OE3IDE and W1AEX, The entire topic is here https://apache-labs.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4166. That thread will give you all the information pertaining to this.
The main difference between the previous skins and the ones required for Thetis 2.9.0.6 are the new buttons and sliders required for the new features and functions. Maybe Richie can give better information about whether the IK3VIG skins at the link he provided contains all the needed buttons and sliders required.

Awesome skins! Thanks to those who developed them . Is there a thread that provides some instruction on how to tailor-make skins oneself?
Now, can someone direct me to a thread that talks about different button styles, downloading them and whether those button styles can be imported to use with all the different skins that are currently available? I would like to change button colors and styles on some skins and wonder what the easiest way to do that is? The "Appearance" form is very nice, but I would think that it can't be used to change button colors as far as I can tell?
Thanks!

The thread is posted here somewhere, but it will direct you to http://www.w1aex.com/hpsdr/hpsdr.html from there scroll down to the section that says "For those who are feeling adventurous and creative!"
