Thetis: RX1 & RX2 without diversity?

Thetis v2.8.11 with Angelia
Is it possible to receive RX1 and RX2 without invoking Diversity?
If I just click the RX2 button on the main screen, Thetis shows a second screen that displays a duplicate of RX1, which isn't useful. The only way I have found to display separate inputs is with Diversity which adds complexity (phase/amplitude adjustment) that I don't need. I just want to see the inputs of RX1 and RX2 as-is.

I'm assuming you mean you want RX1 to display data from ADC0 (the normal antenna ports) and RX2 to display data from ADC1 (from the RX2 port).

If that's correct, then it sounds like you may have set both RX1 and RX2 to use the same ADC. I don't remember how the DDC assignments are arranged on the Angelia, so you'll have to experiment to find which DDC is assigned to RX1 and which is assigned to RX2. Go to Setup > General > ADC and start clicking buttons!

Remember it's ADC --> DDC --> RX.

And the code uses different DDCs for diversity than it does for the normal RX instances.

It's not hard to sort this out. Put ANT1 on WWV, turn on RX2, then see which button makes WWV come and go on RX2. Then you'll know you found the right DDC.

When playing with Setup/General/ADC as suggested, I find that only Protocol 1 ADC assignments have any effect. Protocol 2 assignments, nothing. I'm running Thetis v2.8.11 (10/20/20) and an Angelia board with v. 5.4 firmware which I believe is Protocol 2. Am I overlooking something?

You overlooked actually researching what firmware version you have.

Not only is 5.4 P1 firmware, it's actually quite old. The latest P1 firmware for the Angelia is 6.0.
