automating Diversity

There is a group of German hams who modified Thetis to automate the Diversity function to find the best settings of gain and phase to reduce noise. Their code is written for the Red Pitaya and doesn't seem to apply to any of the Anan radios.
I thought I'd compare their code to Thetis to determine how they modified the code then make the same changes to Thetis. Before I do that, I thought i'd ask here to see if there is a really clever way to do this. I did find a module to add to Visual Studios to do this along with another program to list the differences. I had played with the Red Pitaya before and thought that automating the diversity capability would be fantastic so being able to do this with the Anan 7000 would also be fantastic.
