No Rx and RX2 big carrier on center fx

Postby HP3AK » Sun Oct 25, 2020 4:19 pm

I cannot get any rx signals with Thetis 2.8.11. I do get, like others here, a strong carrier on Rx2 at the center frx. I have not tried Thetis for a long time. I have searched the forum, but only see similar problems with no answers that work. PSDR works fine.

I have an Angelia board (100D) with 5.2 P1 firmware. *I would go to newer P1 firmware, but anything newer disables my PTT line out. Any help out there?

Thanks, Jay, HP3AK

Make sure DDC1 and DDC2 are both assigned to ADC1. You may have only DDC1 set to ADC1 - the default has changed in 2.8.11 but you probably still have the old setting on the database. That was an error in the earlier version. (And my error - I apologise!)

Thanks. The settings are correct for Protocol 1 ADC assignments (Default). However, I still have -97 dBm carrier on Rx2. with no rx on Rx2.

Wow. Disabled SD (Stereo Diversity) STEREO DIVERSITY disables frequency control and locks Rx2 on last used frequency...cannot be changed with VFOA when SD is enabled. The ONLY way to use the two receivers together is use VFO Sync to tune VFOA & B to same frequency. Does not work for split operation! Oh well, Back to PSDR mRX ...shame.
