Missing up/down curser key tuning in Thetis 2.0 v2.6.9
Missing up/down curser key tuning in Thetis 2.0 v2.6.9
Have finally upgraded to P2 and Thetis 2.0 v2.6.9. Looks like computer isn't up to task. Task Manager showing Thetis running between 30 and 45 % CPU usage when on FT8. i5 with 8 GB RAM in HP Pavilion lap top. Any ideas welcome. BUT, what I really want to know is why cntrl and up/down curser keys don't operate tuning. cntrl and left/right keys still change tuning step. None of the keyboard tuning combos shown under setup> Keyboard work either. Is it something peculiar to my installation of the software or has the tuning got lost in the transition to Thetis?

Have you got "keyboard enable shortcuts" on options 1 tab checked ?

That's not right, not for an i5 class CPU. Go into Setup > Display > General and change Driver Engine to DirectX. Turn on VSync. Leave off the other checkboxes in the Driver Engine section.bigbird1 wrote:Have finally upgraded to P2 and Thetis 2.0 v2.6.9. Looks like computer isn't up to task. It looks like that function is legitimately broken. I suggest you post a short note to that effect in this topic: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3182 That's where Richie has been keeping track of bug reports.BUT, what I really want to know is why cntrl and up/down curser keys don't operate tuning. cntrl and left/right keys still change tuning step. tks Tony. I double checked. Yes keyboard shortcuts are enabled.

Tks WU20. I set driver to directx and checked vsynch. Task Manager now shows that Thetis has gone up to 48 to 53 % CPU usage. I'm guessing that's not quite what you expected.
I will post the curser key problem as you suggested 'cos that is an important function for me.
