Does anyone have some suggested initial CFC settings using a Heil ICM condenser mic? Running a 200D here with TX bandwidth set at 3.0 Khz.
Thanks and 73,

Need suggested Thetis v2.6.8 CFC settings for Heil ICM mic.

Bob,
See the two tacked topics on audio setup in the PowerSDR sub-forum:
viewforum.php?f=6
There is no difference in audio processing between Thetis and PowerSDR other than the VOX/DEXP stuff.
With more and more people using Thetis, I'm probably going to move the audio setup topics all to the Microphones sub-forum so we don't get duplicate Thetis and PowerSDR posts.
Remember that differences between microphones are all about the frequency responses of the microphones. The Heil IC element is, like many condenser elements, relatively flat, but Heil has apparently emphasized the high end response.
You will probably want to add in a little low end, and may find the high end a bit too bright.

Scott

Thanks Scott. Good information.
The Icm microphone does give a "hot" high end response I noticed.
I'll work with the suggested settings and fine tune things.
