Hi Doug and the group,

thanks for the new version 2.5.2 (7/8/17).

Is there any one who can confirm this behaviour?

Watch this video!

I can duplicate this. It seems anywhere one is in a band segment labeled "Out of Band" or "Shortwave" the band buttons are gone from the display.

I can confirm that I saw this behavior in the 2.4.3 beta as well. I have not looked at 2.5.2 yet.

The problem is most likely due to the particular skin that you are using. It may not have all of the necessary graphics. Try it with one of the skins that comes with Thetis or PowerSDR.

Hi Doug,

I went through all of them and the issue showed up with each skin in both 2.4.3 and 2.5.2. In the cases shown in the screenshots below I clicked on the "SWL" button and that made the band buttons disappear. If I cycled down to 1885 or any other frequency within a ham band the band buttons reappeared. It's an odd one!

Hi Rob,

The installer may not be adding all of the files. Please check to see if the following are included in your skins folder:

Can't speak for Rob, but I don't have those buttons in any of my skins, and I don't have any skins that show a July date that would be associated with a recent install of Thetis.

Thanks,

Scott

Hi Doug,

The radbandGEN series of buttons are present in the "OpenHPSDR-Gray", "IK3VIG Special", "Dark Metal", and the "High Visual" skins that are loaded by the installer so it looks like the installer is fine. However, they were not present in the ANAN skin that I made myself and copied over from my OpenHPSDR skins folder so I'll complete that set tomorrow.

I removed my incomplete ANAN skin from the THETIS Skins folder and then started up THETIS again but the issue still is present with the skins from the installer as can be seen in the little video. Not sure why that is happening.

The problem in Thetis is not the missing graphics. The SWL panel does not have a XY delta to keep it correctly placed on the console. If you resize the console to its minimal size you should see the SWL panel again. I will get this problem corrected soon.

I corrected the problem with the disappearing SWL panel and the problems with the CFC Tools.

Thanks, Doug! Does this also have the audio fixes we've identified so far?

It has the ones that you mentioned over the last couple of days where Warren and I have made the corrections. I was not able to duplicate your problems with the display freezing or the error from clicking on the band buttons.
