Thetis - Spectrum Display

Hi guys,

it's not a bug, but I do like the thin lines in the spectrum in PowerSDR much much more than the much thicker lines in Thetis. See the attached pictures.

Still a work in progress, I'm afraid, Norbert. There is also the funny roll-off at the edges, and the "speckles" on the waterfall display. These are known issues and will certainly be addressed when developer focus returns to Thetis and the new protocol. However right now developer focus is still on PowerSDR and firmware as the 8000 continues to settle into the family of radios.

Norbert, I went back to the normal drawing scheme on the panadapter display. Please give it a try and see if it looks better.

Scott, I believe the 'speckles' problem is resolved in this release.

You can download it from this page:
https://github.com/w5wc/Thetis/releases/tag/v2.4-beta.3

You will need to reset your database. This release has many new controls being saved in the database.

Thanks, Doug! Away from home this week, but I will look forward to trying this when I return!

Wow! Thank you very much, Doug! It looks sharp and crispy now, beautiful :-)

And the RX2 6m LNA gain setting, nice! Ups, the 6m LNA RX2 ist for the 8000DLE, which is here for test.

I have a problem with the bandstack memories for VHF+ (here 2m). Once the 2m band is clicked, the band keyboard goes back to the hf bands. Oh, changing frequency with VFO does the same, back to hf buttons.

The problem is most likely the region. I have only completed updating the frequencies for the United States region. I will work on that area more. Could you test it again using the United States region?

Yes, it's working with US region :-) Ok, we are playing around, have found some strange things, but it's too early to tell you more :-)

Hi Doug,

I tested 3.3.17 and 2.4 beta on Anan 200d rev 24

Both run OK.

but Puresignal gives with 3.3.17 < 50 db imd suppression and 2.4 only > 40 db

setPk in 3.17 is 0.4072 and in 2.4 0.2899 ????

73 and oc thanks for your work.
