Hello,
New 7000 and 1st post--
Running HPSDR mRX and not able to find the CPU meter. I haven't seen anything in the user manual or in the forums as to how to get this to come up. I keep right/left clicking on the date/time/volt meter but nothing happens their.

Thank You
Larry

I believe it was either CPU or another function set in settings, but most of us have switched to Thetis as it has a lot more features and performance.

There's nothing you need to do for it to show. It simply is there, right under the time display.

What version are you running? Maybe you need to uninstall/reinstall it?

In the Display Tab, General, Right side uncheck the block labeled "Show Volts/Amps"

If "Show Volts/Amps" is unchecked and CPU is still missing try the procedure from W1AEX. http://www.w1aex.com/anan/anan.html#counters

Thanks All-- up and running and showing 6-7 % :D
This is a new set up with new PC after owing Flexes for the last 6 years (I can't believable what I am hearing as the NR is awesome)
As far the Thetis----- it looks awesome but it's to scary to attempt to give it a try :?

I have been slowing reading about the procedure but still not quite sure of my self yet-- kind of like a little baby (little steps at a time).
With a little persuasion will give it a go!??

Thank You

It's easy and many of us are enjoying all the new features and efficiencies that Ritchie has brought to 2.7.0. The latest firmware for the 7000 is 2.0b

There is no looking back when you start using Thetis 2.7.0, almost like going from a Flex SSDR to PowerSDR (been there, done that).

Gary-----Why on earth did you say that? The suspense is killing me , what is a man to do now?

Where is the best location/place to get the most pain free instructions for a old guy like me living in a little remote cabin in Idaho?

Gary, if I fail and the rig starts smoking out the back you will need to fly to central Idaho and make any needed repairs. Lodging and black Angus steaks will be provided for up to 2 nights stay

Not trying to be a jerk here but this forum is THE place to get all that info, all very well documented. But I'll give you a few quick shorcuts.

Get Protocol 2.0b here viewtopic.php?f=32&t=3192
Get Thetis 2.6.9c3 Installer here https://github.com/w5wc/Thetis/releases/tag/v2.6.9
Get the drop and replace 2.7.0a3 Thetis files here viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3345

But read these 2 threads to see all the new features and ways to enable them. Start with this thread first:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3182

And finish with: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3345

Only the 2nd day with the new 7000-- but have been reading this forum for about 2 weeks so I know it all the info is here somewhere.
Your post will point me for sure in the right direction--- Thank You.
Only on rainy days can I play radio- all other times are devoted to placing and/or checking bear traps and babysitting hunters who pay me lots of money so they can hunt/see or take a picture of Idahos abundant Canadian gray wolves.
