How do I record an IQ file?

Please pardon me if this is a silly question...

I have used other clients that allowed me to record I/Q data so that I could replay at a later time and look at signals that may have been missed when the recording was made. The recordings are also very useful for demos and training.

I seem to get a WAV file when I push the record button the main display. How do I record I/Q data instead?

Nope, there are no silly questions, because there is very little documentation (and this forum ;) )

The answer is: don't use the "quick record and playback" buttons on the main user interface. Instead, select the "Wave" menu to get the Wave File Controls window, then click the "Options" submenu to choose what you'd like to record (IQ in this case). Then use the record and playback buttons in the Wave File Controls windows to do your recording and playback.
