DSB visual on Powersrd mRX bootup..

Anan 200D, running 3.3.9 ...On a cold boot, when I press the POWER button, I get DSB - TX image on the screen. Wait 20-40 seconds, and the screen drops into the normal RX configuration.
Although the system looks like it's in TX, no output power is being generated, and the PTT has not been activated...

Completely delete your database directory (or make a copy if you are cautious and then delete it), which is here:

C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\FlexRadio Systems\PowerSDR mRX PS

Uninstall 3.3.0. Install 3.3.15. Redo all of your settings. Then it should work fine.

You should also probably update your firmware to the latest version. See here: https://apache-labs.com/community/viewforum.php?f=18

Correct 3.3.9 was corrupted, came during a thunderstorm when the power flickered 3-4 times in rapid suction, although the 70 amp supply was/is on a APC..I guess some junk got through!!
Going to upgrade PureSignal to 2.0 .... but 3.3.15 looks solid!!

Looks like I'm back to square 0ne++++
Loaded 3.3.15, all appeared Ok ... But then out of the clear, the 200D kicked out on High SWR... But I was into a dummy load..So connections and cable..changed everything..
On the first boot, I got the DSB image again.
Wiped .15 and went back to .9 ....
The same problem, DSB image while in RX, drops after 45 seconds to the receiver image..
Then when I key in SSB with a -15 microphone level, it kicks out to High SWR, check etc....
THEN I put the Anan into a NEW..set of cables and connectors direct into a dummy load...Key'd.. no DSB image but after 30 seconds while talking it kicked out due to high SWR/check connections.....
Looks like I have a case for the doctor. Unit is a year +3 months old ..Bought it from Gigaparts..Do they do service on Anan's??

Bill,

Have you tried disabling VSWR protection? A great many people have to do that in order to get their radios to run properly. AFAIK, there have been no radios damaged by doing so.
