Anan 7000 30 Watt Limit?

My radio: Black Face Anan 7000DLE MII, in operation since Spring 2021. I have meticulously avoided going higher than 30 watts output in continuous duty modes like FT8 to avoid overheating issues. But I have recently read that that limit really only applies to the earlier versions of the hardware. Which is correct? Thanks for your help with this.
