Hello Everyone,
I was wondering how users store there computers? I turn mine off when not in use including my GPSDO and other Accessories.I found that if I keep the computer running I have weird quirks that turn up. Also is it normal to keep everything on?How about the GPSDO as I have a ebay Asian version.I use my radio about once a week.My Computer is a Abroham Neil built computer it boots in 6 seconds.I figure I should switch it off to keep the dust out.

That is a FAST boot time! I run my system/Anan 8000 nearly 24 hours a day - actually I do run it 24 hours a day for typically 2 to 3 days ... then shut everything down (systematically) and bring it all back up again (again systematically)... that seems to keep quirks from showing up.

I run my entire station and PC 24/7/365, and reboot about once a week, or more often if things are getting "weird". But I use it every day, and the PC gets a ton of use, not just for radio.
