Internal connections between Hermes and the 100W PA/Filter board?

Postby Stu » Mon Mar 05, 2018 4:29 pm

Hi All
I am connecting a Hermes board from an Anan 10 to the 100W PA/filter board. I'm also using the Anan 100 case.

SMA patch cable between J5 Hermes (RX in) to J13 Amp/filter (RX out)
SMA patch cable between J3 Hermes(TX out) to J2 Amp/Filter (TX in)

SMA patch cable between J25 Hermes (10mhz in) to rear panel connector

10 pin idc cable between the 2 Alex headers

2 pin connector for speaker out from Hermes to the speaker connector on amp/filter

Have I got my connections figured out correctly?

On this Hermes board sma J1 is in place which is the low level transverter out. However there is also transverter out on the Amp/Filter board J3 derived from the tx in.
I'm guessing I can connect the rear panel transverter output to either of these?

Thanks
Stuart

Hi Stu,

No -100 here to look at, so I'm no help from that perspective. However, are the schematics not sufficiently clear?

Hi Scott
Yes they are clear enough.
Just waiting for some sma patch cables so posted these while waiting just in case I had missed something obvious.

My Anan 100 is being made up from spare parts so other than the manuals and various pictures available i'm building this from scratch.
Meaning I haven't had the benefit of dismantling it from a complete unit.
Case is an Anan 100 static display case that had 2x unpopulated boards. (from Germany)
The Hermes is from an Anan 10. I bought this as faulty but managed to repair it.
I've just acquired a used 100w amp/filter board from France.
Cheers
Stuart
