Anan 100 - checks for replacement Amp/Filter board?

Postby Stu » Sat Mar 03, 2018 4:22 pm

Hi all
I have managed to acquire a working Apache labs 100w PA/Filter board to use with my AL Hermes board.
It hasn't arrived yet but I am wondering if there are any checks I should be making before connecting it all.

The only adjustments I am aware of are the amp bias pots but if this board was removed from a working Anan 100 then I assume they should be setup correctly.

The board is actually from a 100D (Angelia) but as far as i'm aware connection to Hermes should be the same shouldn't it?

I was thinking of just connecting the Alex header first and checking the relays switch correctly with band selection.
Then connect the rx and tx sma cables and try some low power tests.

Or am I being too cautious?

If anybody has any suggestions they would be appreciated.

Thanks
Stuart

It should all be the same. Start with low power and dummy load. Schematics are available here in the forum for everything you have there. Go to the schematics sub-forum and grab what you need, then double check it all before hooking it up.
