Postby w-u-2-o » Sun Apr 09, 2017 1:39 pm

Complete schematics continue to be not publicly available at this time. They are, however, available upon request. Please contact Apache Labs directly to obtain them.

As of 17 Feb 2023, Apache has approved public posting of the three different versions of the Orion MKII SDR card used in 7000, 8000 and Andromeda units.

Orion Mk II J16 Pin-outs

Postby w-u-2-o » Fri Dec 15, 2017 2:19 pm

On the Orion Mk II boards, J16, the IDC type connector on the board used to make connections to the rear panel connectors, is identical to the equivalent connector on the 100D and 200D, with one exception:

In the 7000, or on 8000's manufactured starting Dec 2017, Pin 10 is no longer ground, it is now "BUFF_OUT", and is intended to be used with EER type amplifiers (not that there is any firmware that currently supports this).
