Programming PTT function as a toggle

Apologies if this question has already been answered!

I do see a few threads talking about the PTT function, but as I am complete MIDI newbie I am posing questions that may be infantile indeed.
Presently, I have a hand-switch plugged into the front mic port, but I would much rather use a MIDI controller where a button (or even better, one of those color LED "pads") could be used for activation of PTT. Hit it once, TX is on, hit it again and TX is off.

I do intend to program many more functions using a MIDI controller and there are a few - especially - when I am on CW, that will be accessible in a much faster way (especially, when working SPLIT and dx).

Perhaps the above is "better" accomplished using a "Streamer" although I must admit I need to study what a streamer actually is  !

Best!

Hi,
so whats your question?
"MOX on off" would be the midi-command...
