Hercules labels

Postby K4ELO » Mon Apr 10, 2017 9:04 pm

I see some folks have made custom button labels for their Hercules controllers. Any tips on doing that? Does it require full disassembly?

Thanks and 73

I use a P-Touch labeler with tape that prints white lettering on black tape. Then I use a sharp scissor, X-acto knife, a steady hand and a lot of patience. Labels go on top of buttons or over other legends on the front panel. I'll also put plain black tape over legends I don't want visible.

Thanks Scott. Appreciate it. I saw a picture of yours and it looks great. Got the P-Touch and tape on order.

Here are a few more photos of my controller showing the lighting features and the nifty stand I got from its previous owner:

Yes, it dates from the Flex days, maybe I should remove that label... :D
