Did you have a chance to try the C version?

I'm working on another set of 4 going further back, almost back at the 12.2.1A scenario. Will post
in roughly an hour or so. Hoping to get back to a baseline that at least connects.

Rich.
Installed v_12.2.1C. Appears to have solved my issues.
Oh Joy.
Now, how did I miss that?
Was there a v 12.2.1B which I may have overlooked also?
Thanks for your help, Will keep an eye on it over the next few days and report bk.

Glad to hear something is working. I'm not sure how it got missed, it isn't on the github bug/issue thread
maybe up further in this one. Actually it is in my private messages on this board, DG9FDA had found seq errors
during TX with 12.2.1C.

The 12.2.1B was reported to not connect.

At any rate, let me know how it works out for you. Just in case here are 4 more that I built:

Rich

v_12.3.3I_ Loads ok. RX/TX dropout every 2-5 sec.
v_12.3.3J_ Loads ok. RX/TX dropout 5-10sec.
v_12.3.3K_ Error Starting SDR Hardware.
v_12.3.3L_ Error Starting SDR Hardware.

I will keep the lid off for more testing this eve.

Rich
v_ 12.2.4A
Same issue as 12.2.1A as I posted.

v_12.2.4B
Same as 12.2.1A

v_ 12,2,4C
Rx constant dropouts
.
v_ 12.2.4D
This one is interesting.
Rx seems stable.
APD not correcting properly.
without ADP IMD3 down 40dBm
with APD IMD3 down 34dBm
Amp View Phase off the charts, also became erratic.

Any questions are welcome.

Were you seeing any sequence errors with the two that somewhat worked?

Just a note for those interested, these last 4 images were the exact same code used
in v12.1.8 that seems to work for most. Same Quartus v21.1 tools to build. The only
difference is a few lines that send SPI data to the PA Filter board for the CW/RF fix.
Each one was the same yet the tools build them differently each time. That is the
free version of the tools.

I'll am building some more and will post in approx 45 minutes.

No Sequence errors.
Have not had any since installed cmASIO .
Rich, if your flipping bits to the PA Filter bd (don't have one here) would that effect operation of my 300wt EB-104 PA?

Rich

v_12.2.4E
RX appears stable.
ADP/Amp View erratic.

v_12.2.4F
RX appears stable.
APD/Amp View very erratic.

v_12.2.4G
Rx appears stable.
Very few Xmit drop outs while using APD.
APD works really well!
Overall, this one is promising.

v_12.2.4H
This one is really interesting... needs more testing.
Rx appears stable.
No dropouts observed while using APD.
Not sure what you did
Both 12.2.4 G & F produced the best APD /Amp View results I have seen in a long time.
Very fast recovery and clean.
Great job.

Tnx

Gary, did you mean "Both 12.2.4 G & F produced the best APD /Amp View results..."
or "Both 12.2.4 G & H produced the best APD /Amp View results..." ? I think you meant
the latter.

In F, G, and H I made sure that the 122.88MHz clock was the same, not buffered through
other chips, going to the TX DSP and DAC, 3 places.

Tnx agn for all the testing you have done.

Correct G&H best.
Great Job Rich.
Giong to start running Thetis in RealTime.
Want to see how stable my system is.

Glad to help.
tnx again.

enjoy..

Nice to know about no sequence errors which at least shows the network timing as
working. Here are some more images to try. Probably it for today. Thanks for your help.

Today I had the time to test the new versions 12.2.4E to H. Fortunately, I could assume that it can be programmed with the HPSDRProgrammer_web.exe, because Garry already reported that they connect to Angelina. This saves a lot of time compared to the "normal" programmer, where the jumper has to be changed all the time. I would probably have to install a switch for this...
Here's what I've noticed:

12.2.4E:
- Connecting to Angelia
- RX seems to be fine, no sequence errors
- TX distorted, no modulation, no 2-tone
- no ADC2 overload

12.2.4F:
- Connecting to Angelia
- RX seems to be fine, no sequence errors
- TX distorted, modulation distorted, 2-tone working
- PS-A not correcting
- no ADC2 overload

12.2.4G:
- Connecting to Angelia
- RX seems to be fine, no sequence errors
- TX seems to be fine, 2-tone working
- PS-A not correcting
- no ADC2 overload

12.2.4H:
- Connecting to Angelia
- RX seems to be fine, no sequence errors
- TX seems to be fine, 2-tone working
- PS-A not correcting
- no ADC2 overload

For comparison purposes bk to 12.1.8
- connceting to Angelia
- RX fine, sometimes sequence errors
- TX fine, 2-Tone fine
- PS-A correcting
- regularly ADC2 overload

I hope it helps.
Thanks for your efforts, Rich and Garry!

I have an early Anan 7000DLE (s# 13), so which firmware update do I use?

Go back to the first post in this topic. You use the one for "ANAN-7000/8000 MkI/II EP4CGX150F896 Cyclone IV series FPGA"

This problem occurs not only for relays ANT1,2,3. But also for relay rx 2 in. this relay does not have time to turn off the second receiver. The delay is 15-20 ms. In cases of closely spaced antennas, this may lead to malfunction of the second receiver! When selecting the qsk mode, the rx 2 in relay does not work at all!
Solution to the problem with relay delay Ant1,2,3, rx 2 in: Set the value cw delay, Key-Down = 35ms. It seems it should be responsible for the shape of the signal. But the form does not change. Don't turn on the qsk mode!

Hooray:

Rf on rx port fried my magnetic loop amp years ago. Verified it with Doug at the time. Updated firmware and new Version Thetis dev2 . Can no longer see any rf on rx only port. Updated my 200D and 8000dle. No new issues found so far. Pure signal and diversity good.

Great work on the firmware and Thetis.
