Installing Protocol-2 on my 100D FAIL!!!

Postby OZ1CT-Ben » Thu Oct 10, 2019 3:21 am

Hi all

I try to install Angelia_Protocol_2_v12.0 and also try Angelia_Protocol_2_v11.8 but my Anan-100d do not start up ??? why ??

if I do a IP-scanning I can't find the IP off the ANAN-100D so it looks as it do not get any IP adress ???

I use PC + ANAN-100D + Switch(go to my router) but do I need a seperat ethernet card to the ANAN-100D ???

I then flash back to Angelia_v6.0 and then it startup whit HPSDR 3.4.8 whit no problem ...

I saw your post earlier this morning on my phone but hate typing on that thing. I was going to ask you about your network card and switch. Now that I am at a computer I see you have solved the problem.

Yes, P2 requires Gigabit Ethernet. It will not run at any other speed. It will not auto-negotiate speeds. This is a limitation of the firmware design in order to keep it simple and small enough to fit into the smaller FPGAs.

If you buy a Gigabit Ethernet switch, you can go back to using your switch as well.
