Any idea whether there will be a "B" version of Protocol 2 for Hermes-ANAN-100 to address the output filter issue?

Mike,

That should not be required. There is no longer any so-called "firmware" control of filters in P2. Everything is controlled from Thetis, as it should be. This is also why the Alex button disappeared. However, I may not fully understand the problem, so please let us all know if the new filter control paradigm is not correct.
