Hello forum,
What differences should I be aware of between the older version Grey 100D and the newer Blue 100D?
Specifically Hardware changes?
Firmware compatibility?
any other changes?
I am looking to buy a 100d and need to iron these questions out .
Thanks folks
Ray
Grey vs Blue 100D changes?
Re: Grey vs Blue 100D changes?
Ok sorry for asking a question which was asked before...
I have searched and can find several answers to this question.
most information is on this thread...

In summary:
Blue has PA enhancements., check schematic to discover more.
"The older Rev. 15 and 16 boards actually had more signal routing flexibility. However, they also had poor crosstalk performance on the board which tended to limit the amount of PureSignal linearization performance that could be achieved"
also, the older units use a linear PSU which ran hotter than the later switching PSU.
Thanks
