I can't get my ANAN to provide data beyond 192,000 sample rate and get occasional dropout during listening.
I got my 7000 DLE MKII during summer 2021. Running it with Thetis 2.8.11. Radio shows in H/W Select as Ver 2.7. Radio is connected to Gigabit Switch (Netgear GS308e). While my computers and two other networked receivers all show up with a linked speed of 1000M, the ANAN refuses to show a linked speed other than 100M.
Why is this? Am I doing something wrong or is radio not performing properly?
Thanks, John VE6EY

Re: 7000DLE MKII Ethernet Connection
This is not a network problem, so moving your thread...
You are running the first generation firmware, what the community calls "Protocol 1"., or P1 for short Thetis with P1 only supports a maximum sample rate of 192KHz. It runs at 100Mbit/s only.
New hardware is delivered from Apache with P1 firmware pre-loaded. Remember that Apache only builds hardware, they have nothing to do with creating the software and firmware except to support the open source developers.
In order to run higher sample rates you need to upgrade to Protocol 2 firmware. P2 runs at GigE speed (and only GigE). You'll need to become knowledgeable about how to upgrade.
First read the tacked topics here, with an emphasis on using Bootloader, which is the most reliable and robust way of upgrading/downgrading firmware: viewforum.php?f=18
Then go to this topic and grab the latest firmware for the 7000: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=3192
Start with P2 2.1.18, but be prepared to possibly have to try older versions in the event your specific serial number hardware doesn't digest it well.

Thanks, will give that a try.
