Hi dear friends,
I just have got a 7000DLE for repair with f/w 2.5 installed. Does anyone have got information about this version and the .rbf file for download?

The latest official release is 2.3:

How old is this 7000? Is it brand new? If so, it is possible that the factory shipped it with something experimental by accident. However, I have it straight from Abhi, as of 19 Nov, that all Orion MKII based systems, 7000 and 8000, should be running 2.3 at this time.
Of course, something could have changed in the last month, and that is why I am asking how old this radio is.

I had sent out an update ~ a month ago that perhaps Abhi had chosen to use:
I put the 6M LNA logic back to the way it was in version 2.3 and created a version 2.5
NOTE: for v2.3 comments in bpf2_select.v and HPF_select.v said the LNA kicked in at 27 MHz but was really at 35 MHz,
which it is again now in v2.5.
Version 2.5 will still have a bug fix for the SPI data sent twice and support for the ECPQ128A.

and if you find an issue or just want to try v2.3 you can always go back to other FW versions.

Rick--I can't update the repo. It has to be Joe. Abhi said NO systems were going to ship with anything beyond 2.3 because none had the new memory in them yet. So color me confused!
Nevertheless, and most important, thanks for all that you do!

Hi Rick and Scott,
the 7000 is a new one, but I don't know how old. There IS an issue with the 31dB-step-attenuator on the Orion MKII board and should be a problem with the T/R relay. I installed 2.3 to compare the behaviour of the attenuator with my own 7000, but to verify the T/R relay problem I want to install f/w 2.5 again.
