Anan10E Questions

Postby Ken » Tue May 17, 2022 4:22 pm

Hello,

I may go look at an Anan10E.

Is there any latest Thetis updates for the 10E or any issues?

What is the difference between the 10E and the Anan-100?
I understand the 100 watts and the 14 bit verses 16 bit.

In a normal rag chew can one tell the difference between the 14 and the 16 bit?

I have also purchased and waiting on the Anan Board that is here for sale, 14 bit. Is there any difference
between the 14 bit Board that is being sold and the 10E without counting the 10 watts from the 10E?

A lot of questions I know, sorry but it is better to know then not to know!
Thank you.

None specific to the 10E, and no.

Those are the main differences.

Also, the 10E cannot be used for PureSignal linearization without modification.

The current version of Protocol 2 firmware has not proven to be reliably good on all 14-bit units, thus you may wind up forced to use Protocol 1.

Other than the lack of PureSignal linearization, no. And that can be fixed with modifications.

No.

This post has nothing to do with Thetis and will therefore be moved out of the Thetis sub-forum.
