Anan-10 power meter suddenly off

Postby WB4AIO Kevin » Sat Aug 31, 2019 8:21 pm

Hello,

My Anan-10's displayed forward power reading (OpenHPSDR mRX 3.4.9) is suddenly off.

Instead of reading 8 Watts forward when in tune mode as it normally does, it now reads 18 to 25 Watts depending on the band.

The readings on my Telepost LP-500 external power meter haven't changed; it shows 8 Watts like always.

Another odd thing -- if I reduce the Drive setting to zero, with confirmed zero output using my external wattmeter, the rig's forward power reading now shows 5 Watts.

A database reset had no effect on this problem.

Any ideas?

Kevin.

It is suggestive of a hardware failure.
