Trying to do some upgrades on the radio and initially when I opened the radio the J2 power leads were hanging on a thread. I soldered them back but it seems the actual wire is too stiff and poor quality and simply does not flex in any way and so its almost the same again.
I decided to replace these wires to the switch and the main board plug. To my horror after de-picking the shrink tube somebody had been me to it
If I could fine another plug with some tails on I could do a better job of this after bashing a bottle of JD.
Does anyone know the details of this plug please. I would like to source it in the UK if possible.
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Anan 100D PA board Plug
Paul,
The connector looks very similar to a Molex plug. The pins insert from the rear and are held in place by several tangs that expand and press against the plastic once the pin is inserted. You can probably push the tangs toward the center and slide the pins out. After you attach new wires to the pins either by crimping or soldering, bend the tangs out and reinsert the pins.
Good luck,
N0RR

Re: Anan 100D PA board Plug
Thank you, Ron.
I used my phone with magnifier to see what you had kindly explained. So, I made a brass tool on the lathe to release the tab (bit fiddly) but I successfully got it out...hurray!
Thanks again we might be ok now
