HRD Cat Control

Setting up Cat control for Ham Radio Deluxe (HRD) using VSPE I have to ensure that VSPE is open and configuration loaded then start Thetis and then have to close VSPE to open HRD, if VSPE is open HRD wont see the DLE 7000 III. Adding VSPE to Windows 11 start up is no problem but when I do this HRD will not connect to DLE 7000. Anyone care to help me this odd problem.

can u share the VSPE configuration? Maybe a screenshot.
I am using a "Pair" in VSPE (ie. COM15, COM16).
In Thetis I have set COM15 and in the logger COM16 (but its not HRD)

You didn't show the HRD settings.

Assuming HRD and Thetis are running on the same computer you don't want to use a splitter, you want to use a pair, and you don't need the connector either.

Delete the connector. Change the splitter to a pair. Put COM20 into HRD and COM21 into Thetis and you should be good.

Thanks Scott, wow I wasn't even close. Yes they are both running on the same computer. Thanks for all the great help you always provide. What kind of Scotch do you like .
