Recently there were some questions about WSJT-X setup. Here is the setup I am using for CAT control. I works 100% fine except for using a "real" split. But since I never run WSJT-X in an actual split mode I don't worry about that
I use Eterlogic VSPE for virtual serial ports, the port pair in use in this example is COM17--COM18.

Re: WSJT-X Setup
I use the "fake it" option and its works well to change the tx qrg.
Re: WSJT-X Setup
The split options are meant as a workaround for rigs with low tx-bandwidth to allow simultaneous JT9/JT65 Mode.
Considering we can define more bandwidth than WSJT-X can support (5kHz) we will never need them.

Re: WSJT-X Setup
Good point! No wonder I never missed not having that capability.
JT9/JT65? Never heard of them. There's this thing called FT8, though..
[thread drift] All kidding aside, JT modes killed almost all of the other digi mode traffic off, and now FT8 has killed that almost overnight. It's kind of sad. I used to spend hours rag-chewing on PSK, Olivia, Contestia, etc. Not any more! [/thread drift]
