ARB-704 box to key linear amps

I have an ANAN 7000 DLE MKII Black Edition (got it about 3 months ago) and have an Ameritech black box - ARB-704 - to key my external linear. Just wondered if any of you also use this “buffer box” to key your linear? Did you need to change the “jumpers” inside the ARB-704 to accommodate your 7000 DLE MKII? I guess I went through the ANAN manual too fast but I would imagine that the specs for PTT OUT will spell out what voltage/current levels it can handle.

I use the ARB-704 to key my old Henry boat-anchor amplifier, using the 7000DLE MKII.
Works fine, no jumpers needed

I was talking about the internal jumpers (they look more like small switches) inside the ARB-704 as depending on what the PTT OUT on the ANAN 7000 DLE MKII likes to see you might need to adjust those switch positions.

I don't have an ARB-704, but I took a look at the manual for you.
On the radio side, you want the following jumper configuration, "RADIO (TX-SEND) = Low systems 2.5 volt threshold"

Scott!
I do appreciate the information.

I’ve had the same ANAN for less than a year. I’ve use ARB-704 on every transceiver / amp combination I’ve ever used. I actually use 2 of them because I use 2 amps (ACOM 1500 & ALPHA 89). They’ve always given me piece of mind.
