Another VAC problem

Postby ke6gla » Wed Jun 17, 2020 3:07 pm

Need help troubleshooting VAC issue.

Hello, my SDR setup has been working great for many years and through all the updates. Within the last month (May-June) my VAC audio is distorted. The other station sounds like they are underwater or very rapid picket fencing. I have never had this issue before. Audio direct from the ANAN-100 (speaker jack) sounds great. As most users’ state, “I have not touched anything” since January. Windows has applied a few updates. The audio VAC1 setup is showing underflows and overflows which I do not remember seeing before.
Trouble shooting steps I have taken are as follows resetting the database, re-installing Voicemeeter Banana, re-installing ASIO4ALL. I have also tried the other drivers, MME and WDM-KDS. I have also bypassed Voicemeeter Banana and routed sound directly to the computer output speakers and it still has the distortion.

Now I don’t know what to try next.

Thanks for assistance

I'd get rid of Asio for all and select voicemeeter Virtiual asio as driver to get the connection that far working at least

removing the asio4all has helped improve the performance.
Thank you.
