Had to de/re-install Voicemeeter with Windows 1903 update

Windows updates have a habit of wrecking your audio drivers. If your Voicemeeter installation doesn't work properly after the 1903 update, don't panic. Just take a deep breath, maybe use a bit of profanity, then:

1. Uninstall Voicemeeter.
2. REBOOT.
3. Install Voicemeeter (I like Potato, but you might still like Banana).
4. REBOOT.
5. Open all VB Audio control panel app's and set your desired sample rates.
6. Open the Windows Sound Control panel (the old, legacy one) and set your preferred sample rates on all recording and playback devices associated with Voicemeeter.
7. Start Voicemeeter, your old settings should be preserved.

...and soldier on with the scars of yet another Windows update.

I do like some of the features of 1903. No pain, no gain, I guess

I just did the 1903 update tonight fully expecting the audio and other things to break but for some reason the Microsoft Gods took pity on me and everything worked just like it did before the update. Who would have guessed that?
