Re: VAC SIGNAL NOT STEADY
Here's my system calling CQ top one no dropouts, bottom one has some. I'm running 48kHz sampling right now and still seeing dropouts but not as bad. Latency mon shows no problems. I see this show up as power variation on Fwd Pwr and the "flashing" of the spectra as these sharp transitions ...

Re: Harmonics when using NB
That's not a usable dropbox link you posted. You need to right-click the file and "Copy dropbox link".
Why are you using NB? Usually you don't want any such thing on WSJT-X modes.

Re: VAC SIGNAL NOT STEADY
I started having problems too. Latency mon sees no problems. 2048 buffer size didn't change things. But dropping the Primary sample rate to 96000 did solve it. Recording the transmission could see half a dozen dropouts running FT8 on WSJT-X.

Re: ADC1 Overload
I didn't have the Stereo checked in PowerSDR. So PowerSdr seems to be summing for Mono also. If I change WSJT-X's audio to Left channel I see the 6dB drop. In Mono it goes back up 6dB. If I turn on Stereo in PowerSDR then both show 0dB for either Mono or Left in WSJT-X. i.e.no change. Does this soun...

Re: ADC1 Overload
What apparently is happening is that using only 1 channel only gives PowerSDR half-value data.
So...50W is as much as can be put out without overdriving the ADC,
Once I enabled 2-channel power output doubled.

Re: ADC1 Overload
I figured this out. I had the audio output channel in Windows set to 1-channel instead of 2. So I guess those two channels are added together instead of averaged. Not sure why one would need to do that in the digital realm but I guess some may be using analog connections? Even the I assume it's bein...

VSWR varies by band but typically around 1.2 on the bands using now.
I do have a receive only antenna on Rx 2. I'll test with that yanked out too but that shouldn't cause a change in output power level, should it?

I've got two transmit antennas. One 61ft dipole in my attic on a tuner and a 15M vertical delta loop outside that I'm testing right now. If I set 0dB on VAC1 TX Gain the most I can get is 25W out. I do notice that on the virtual cable control panel it appears that the level meter doesn't go very hig...

Re: ADC1 Overload
Should have mentions I'm using FT8 right now so just 15-second intervals... No Pure Signal. ADC1 overloads with the combination of VAC1 TX Gain and Power Level from WSJT-X. So if I drop WSJT-X's power level and increase TX Gain I get the ADC1 indicator agai at the same power level. I assume when the...

Running WSJT-X quite successfully for a long while on < 25W.
Been testing more power and find the most I can get is about 50W and then "ADC1 Overload" in red starts showing up.
Is this the 30W limit mentioned in the manual coming into effect?

I just set it up oh my ANAN 100 without any problem. You need a 2nd com port pait to talk to so have to enable CAT+ Then you can Setup/Use CommPort (PTT CAT) For example, I've got CAT2 enabled on PowerSdr on COM3, 38400,8n1. A serial port pair form COM3/4 Then setup Easypal on COM4. Seems to work ju...

It's quite possibly noise from your computer.
Do you have any extra cards in the computer you can remove? Or maybe a different computer you can test?
I went through something similar with another user and he found a 2nd network card that was giving broadband noise in his computer.

I see the same thing on JT65. I ran a 2nd copy of WSJT-X and used the output of the 1st as the input for the 2nd copy. On there you can see the multitones and I believe I can see some FFT shoulders in there too. Seems the PowerSDR transmit FFT freq bin size is not adjustable. So all you see on the P...

Re: Audio mixer
I see 20dB on the Setup/Audio/Primary tab "Line In gain" I can't edit it at all. The reason I ask is there shouldn't be any gain applied to a digital signal for WSJT-X...so was wonder if this gain # is analog from the ANAN or digital internally in PowerSDR. If digital it needs to be 0dB as...

Re: Poor JT65 performance using Anan8000DLE - help?!
What version of WSJT-X?
How do you have the audio set on the audio device and on WSJT-X? I've seen too many people do this incorrectly.
Unless you have identical audio levels coming into the audio devices and equal gain on them you aren't comparing apples to apples.

Looks like 1st one above is 120Hz and 2nd one is another 240Hz up.
So looks like 60Hz interference which presents itself as 120Hz.
Power supply, wall worts most likely culprits.
Start unplugging things...
Also make sure everything is common grounded too.

Re: FocusMaster with N1MM+ doesn't work for me
This link 'splains when you can set focus and mentions the "AllowSetForeground" function. But that would be N1MM allowing it. Perhaps PowerSDR could start the N1MM process and then it's more likely to work? It sounds like the SPI_GETFOREGROUNDLOCKTIMEOUT might be of interest too. Default v...

Re: FocusMaster with N1MM+ doesn't work for me
I took a look at the FocusMaster code. PowerSDR forces the N1MM+ window to foreground when N1MM+ sends a RadioInfo packet. So, you don't need N1MM to grab focus (it really shouldn't matter). But you do need N1MM+ to send RadioInfo packets. Under Config/Configure Ports.../Broadcast Data -- check the ...

Re: FocusMaster with N1MM+ doesn't work for me
Come to think of it the behavior you describe sounds correct. If PowerSDR is the active window you really wouldn't want something stealing focus while you're tuning. Maybe what you want is a "Using MIDI controller" checkbox to force it or perhaps PowerSDR could recognize it's getting comma...

Re: FocusMaster with N1MM+ doesn't work for me
You don't say what versions of N1MM+ or PowerSDR you are running. In the notes on 3.4.1 it mentions an incompatibility problem with N1MM that was fixed. So sounds like you may need to update PowerSDR and/or N1MM+ Seems that you should not need to set up N1MM+ for "grab focus" for PowerSDR....
