Re: Hermes Lite, Thetis, UMC 202HD, VM Potato and WSJT no audio
Nuno, Now that you've apparently got WSJT-X working, the rest is easy. Voicemeeter will happily allow more than one application to share a channel strip if they are not using ASIO. Since none of the digi mode app's use ASIO, you can simply set them all up like WSJT-X and run them all on channel stri...

Re: G2 power supply - TAKE CARE!
So the problem had nothing to do with the G2 itself. It's seems simply a coincidence. It was difficult to imagine how running at 12.9V could cause any problems.

Do you know if the unit is running Protocol 1 or Protocol 2 firmware? Knowing the answer to that will help determine whether you proceed with Programmer or Bootloader.

Re: Hermes Lite, Thetis, UMC 202HD, VM Potato and WSJT no audio
Looks pretty good so far. First, a couple of clean up items: - Remove the input selection assignments on Voicemeeter channel strips A1, A2 and A3 (the first three strips). We'll come back to that later. - Remove all of the assignments on channel strip B3, marked "Voicemeeter VAIO3". Now fo...

Re: Hermes Lite, Thetis, UMC 202HD, VM Potato and WSJT no audio
That it's an HL2 does not matter. Let's take this one step at a time. Part of the problem is that Voicemeeter naming conventions can be confusing. Step one, get audio moving out of Thetis, through Voicemeeter, to the UMC202. - Your choice of UMC ASIO for Hardware Out A1 is correct. - Set Thetis to u...

Re: Thetis 2.0.3.6 dev_2 issues
There's a lot of setup screens, that's for sure! Don't forget that you can almost always find the appropriate setup tab by right clicking on the control in question. This definitely works with AGC, give it a try! The new "Finder" menu is also helpful. See what you get when you put in "...

Re: G2 power supply - TAKE CARE!
It's not entirely clear from your post, but: - Did the Pi crash during this power supply event? or - When you saw the voltage had dropped and you "completely shut down the station within a few seconds" did you follow the proper shutdown procedure so that the Pi was not just crashed off? Be...

Re: There is no such thing as an ANAN-7000DLE MKIII
From a user standpoint, and using Thetis as the software, the only practical advantage the G2 has over the 7000 is that the G2 has a complete and fully stable implementation of Gigabit Ethernet. The RF and DSP architectures are otherwise essentially identical, with differences only measurable on a t...

Re: Thetis 2.0.3.6 dev_2 issues
2.10.3.6 (1/28/24) dev_2, correct? There is no user adjustment for the red line. Warren, Richie and I proved that it is mathematically correct, regardless of how it may look to some. IMHO it is spot on. Indeed, Richie's algorithm for calculating it is incredibly elegant, working for nearly any set o...

Re: G-2 Screen Model
I still don’t fully understand pure signal I read it but have not seen it -I guess it’s like a good clean compression of your audio PureSignal is not an audio processing facility. It is not a voice compressor. It is a method for significantly reducing intermodulation distortion (IMD) in your signal...

Re: Changing Windows 10 Network Throttling Index for Better Performance
Bob, It seems there are at least two things going on here. First is the lack of the expected registry keys. This might affect dropout performance but not "hooting and feedback". You might need some Windows OS repairs. Try running the following commands from an Command Prompt (Admin) window...

Re: "Conflict" between TCI and TCP?
You've got quite a train wreck going on there! Everything is interfering with everything else because you are using the same ports everywhere. You can't use the same port for both TCI and TCP. Make them different in Thetis. Adjust your other software and hardware as necessary to match your selection...

This is probably going to do more harm than good :D I use Voicemeeter Potato strictly as a patch bay between the audio interface (Presonus Studio 192 Mobile), Thetis (via cmASIO), digi mode software and Reaper (DAW). All mixing and routing is done in Reaper. Mic's and speakers are plugged into the P...

Re: PC Build: GPU
The GPU needs to support DirectX 12 but that is no problem for probably any card that's been made for the last five (ten?) years. Thetis requires very little in the way of GPU performance. It's all very simple 2D graphics. Certainly you do not need a card that supports a refresh rate of more than 60...

The settings you are looking for are found in Setup > Display > RX1, RX2 and TX. You will primarily be concerned with the RX spectrum grid settings and the TX grid scale settings. Note that RX settings can be set individually for each band. Rather than try to describe them in detail I'd suggest just...
