Re: 2.6.9

Also noticed that the larger the window I drag to the 60hz display, the more it effects the number displayed on thetis. Smaller the window, the less. OBS drops it to 60, My watt meter window, which is smaller, drops it to 80, and the Bob S Meter which is very small, drops it to 140. But as I sit her...

Another thing I noticed to go with my post from yesterday. When I have Vsync enabled, and I have OBS open, and move it from my 144hz monitor to my 60hz monitor, the fps plummets to 60fps. When I move it bcack, it comes back up. Now, when Vsync is off and I do the same thing with OBS, I can tell on ...

Re: Diveristy Reception Adventures...

Where is "Grnd RX2 On TX"? I dont see it in my 200D setup menu anywhere.. There is a "Gnd BPF2 On TX" selection in General>Ant/Filters, but thats only when you have the 7000 or 8000 selected as your radio.

Diveristy Reception Adventures...

Just curious how some of you guys have diversity setup in your rigs. It took me a while to get it setup right on my 200D. I have my diversity antenna going into RX2 and using an optocoupler to essentially open the antenna on TX. I was overloading the ADC on transmit for the longest time, but didn't ...

Re: 2.6.9

One thing I did notice, and Im not sure if it is a setting that I had in my PC. Im running a 2k 144hz monitor and a 1080p 60hz monitor. The 144hz monitor is set to 144hz in the monitor menu and in my Nvidia control panel, using a DP 1.2 output/input. When I selected Vsync, and mind you Thetis and th...

One thing I want to mention, and maybe its just a coincidence, but I just installed a new 27" 1440p, 144hz, monitor. Taking a Dell p2213, 22" 60hz monitor out of the mix and and pairing the new monitor with a 24" 1080p, 60hz monitor. Before, as I had mentioned in other posts, I was ge...

Re: 2.6.9

I'm observing what is perhaps best described as "stuttering" in the rendering of the waterfall. Running DirectX, 32ms update rate on a 30Hz monitor. Panadapter is set for 30Hz. 768KHz sample rate, 2.93 Hz bin size, 120ms averaging. Changing the waterfall update rate to be faster or slower...

Hopefully you can get a good deal close to Black Friday whatever you choose. And yes thags the plan. I found a 1440k 144hz monitor with great reviews on amazon for $240. I'm really leaning toward a 2k monitor because even if I cant hold 144fps, I don't think I'm gonna see much, If any, improvement ...

Another thing I just thought about is since I keep my pan adapter averaging time at 50 milliseconds, that means th frame rate of my panadapter is 20hz, going off of why Scott suggested the waterfall update time at 16ms because the framerate of 3.4.9 is 60fps. What I'm getting at is if I had my panad...

I totally agree with the "fluidity " statement. I see a huge difference between 30fps and 60fps. Its night and day. Anyway, I'm just trying to figure out which would be the better upgrade, more FPS, 1080p @144fps or more resolution 1440p @ 60fps... hmmmmmmmmmm :(

1080p 144hz vs 1440p 144hz Monitors For Latest 144fps Capable Thetis

So, I'm looking into getting a new monitor and upgrade from my 1080p 60hz monitors to either a 1080p or 1440p 144hz monitor. How much of an improvement do you think I would see with a 1440p monitor as opposed to a 1080p 144hz monitor? My GPU, GTX 1050 ti, should handle 144fps at 1440p however, if no...

PS misbehavior in firmware versions later than 1.8 is NOT "normal" for everyone. By saying that it is you might prevent someone from trying firmware that works better for them than 1.8.

I seem to be getting A LOT of seq errors. Nothing that you are looking for, just a random 1 in a sequence of 0's. But they happen at all times. Transmitting, receiving, doing other tasks, not doing other tasks, etc etc. Not causing any issues. No audio drop outs, no freeze ups, nothing besides the e...
