Re: 200D Orion Board - The Function of J14
Oooooh... you're trying to motivate me Scott! I do have Quartus Lite (v19.1.0.670) installed but to be honest I am more likely to just put a jumper on J-14 to see what happens when the Orion is powered up. What could possibly go wrong?

200D Orion Board - The Function of J14
I have had several 200D users mention to me that the little bootloader/run switch soldered to the bottom of the Orion board and accessible through a hole in the bottom plate is very fragile. Apparently, if you slip with whatever tool you insert into the port to slide the mini switch it's very easy t...

Hi Stan,
Yes, as Gary implied, PowerSDR_mRX PS has been sleeping for a very long time. It's all rusty and the screen is broken. Definitely go for Thetis!

Pure Signal 2.0 GetPk and SetPk values
My only observation about these two items is that the GetPk value changes slightly as Pure Signal goes about the business of correcting non-linearity in the PA of the ANAN (internal coupler being used) or in an external amplifier (external coupler feeding a sample to the bypass port). When transmitt...

Hi Richie,

Something to brighten my very dreary mood recently, Ernst OE3IDE has sent over a nice new splash, and it looks great with progress bar and eta to completion time. It will be in rc5 at some point before/during the weekend.
Richie.
Love the splash screen Richie! Well done Ernst!

Hi David, I have always built my own gaming computers and when a new build is finished I retire the old gaming computer to my ham station and use it there. I found quickly that some power supplies were horrendous RFI generators that spewed garbage all over the ham bands. At any rate, I have had exce...

Pre6 is running great here Richie. Pure Signal is working great with the 20ms sampling rate. Previously, a couple of times an hour PS would randomly appear to fall asleep and feedback/correction would stop for a few seconds and then recover. From what I can see with the 20ms sampling rate the feedba...

Anyone know if the KM3KM amp is rated for use on AM? I'd love to know what its rating is in AM linear service as well. They do list AM in their manuals (see below) but no operational specifics for AM linear service are mentioned. I would guess that it most likely surpasses my ALS-1306 which I run w...

In the winter I use an AL-82 with its pair of 3-500 jugs running at around 250 watts of carrier on AM with my ANAN 200D. It has plenty of headroom and can run AM all day and all night. Plus, it has the added benefit or really warming the room on those cold evenings while running AM on 160 meters. Wh...

Hi Richie, The 21i version is working very well here. The VAC resampler graph settles down after an initial up-down oscillation at first startup and sits right at 0.000180 "OUT" and 0.000183 "IN" from that point on. I guess that's an indication that the resampler is stable with m...

Hi Phil, Sorry you are having issues now with your 200D and protocol 2.
