Re: 7000DLE Variable Output Power
Yes Loren, the impact of the case temperature is noticeable, (almost) regardless of the power level. When you key down the transmitter, the output level rises slightly (abt 0,5 watts at 100W) and then slowly starts to decrease. Same at moderate levels (30 Watts) in almost the same percentage. No pro...

Re: 7000 fan noise
Thanks again, Scott for your recommendations.
I hope that Abhi and his team will find a solution for you cannot leave it as it is unless you don't want to sell it. Many people will read this post.

Re: 7000 fan noise
Abhi, we should not mix "noise" with "rattle" or "rumble"... what is the problem? - cheap fan - I can replace it by a Noctua or something similar as already suggested - WILL THIS BE AN IMPROVEMENT? - bad control circuit? - mechanical issue Constant fan noise is a little...

Re: 7000 fan noise
I can confirm the fan noise issue als well. I sent a recording via mail to Apache Labs Support today and they replied: Hello Volker, The Fan noise is normal and cannot be reduced when using the internal FAN, you may disable the internal FAN and add an external one using the back panel FAN connector,...

Re: ANAN-7000DLE Update
I will be glad to use DIG In straight key connected to my MicroHam keyer.
That's a very good idea.
Additional Stereo 3,5mm socket for Line OUT L/R or Line Out Left (Main RX) wirde to useless Line IN Right would be great.....

Re: ANAN-7000DLE Update
Hi Abhi,
thanks for the reply.
I am currently running an ANAN-100 in a SO2R environment with a K3 controlled by a Microham MK2R+.
The 7000DLE will replace my 100.
I am using VAC for CW skimmer
That's why I would like to keep on using analog outputs. Main RX would be ok.

Re: ANAN 7000 DLE Line Out
Useless "Line In Right" should be Line Out (main RX). This will be the one I will use. Hopefully the breakout board is more like the TAPR board for the ANAN-10.

Re: ANAN 7000 DLE Line Out
Scott, thanks for clarification. I expected nothing else. So the technical specification is WRONG. IOs: RCA Line In, Line Out, PTT in, PTT Out Line In Left and Right does not make any sense to me (and according to the manual only one of them is used). So this means drilling holes in a 3k$ radio........

ANAN 7000 DLE Line Out
Hello,
does anyone know whether the new 7000 DLE will have Line Out connectors (specification) or not?

Re: ANAN-7000DLE Update
Hello Abhi,
reading the manual I didn't find Line Out connectors as described in the 7000 DLE Spec.
Are there no Line out signals available? (I need them)

Re: Apache Labs Announces the ANAN-7000DLE
Rob, thanks for info. I thought of modifying my 100 (crosstalk, thermal design etc etc), but now, I seriously think of selling it and purchase the 7000. Sooner or later I will make up my mind.. So the only snag left should be the T/R relais noise (just like the IC7300 and many others) in CW. TNX 73 ...

Re: Apache Labs Announces the ANAN-7000DLE
[/quote]Volker--I can't speak to the ANAN-100, but my 100D is whisper quiet. Given that the airflow in the 7000DLE is going to be approximately the same as in the 100D/200D, and that the design now includes a PWM fan controller, it is reasonable to expect that under low power/low duty cycle conditio...

Re: Apache Labs Announces the ANAN-7000DLE
Hi Abhi,
what about fan noise e.g. during reception? Is the 7000DLE a "tsunami" like my ANAN 100 (before I changed the fan)?
Or is it more quiet?
tnx

Re: Anan 100 Xvtr RX BNC port
Hi Tony, in order to rout the XVERT RX BNC Port to the RX path (internally), you have to set a checkbox in General>Ant/Filters>Antenna in the left RX section for "XVERT" for your IF Band e.g. 10m. Please look at the screenshots in the thread below this one from VK4.... 73 Volker DL4ZBG
