Re: cmASIO feature in Thetis 2.10.3.5 pre 3
Scott, One thing I don't understand is why you're using "Voicemeeter Virtual ASIO" as the ASIOdrivername value, as the instructions say to use the ASIO driver name (in my case, that would be "MOTU M Series"). "MOTU M Series" is the driver, while "Voicemeeter Virtua...

Re: cmASIO feature in Thetis 2.10.3.5 pre 3
Thanks Scott, I'm pretty sure that's what I've done (per your instructions) but for whatever reason it wasn't working as I expected. If memory serves (which is not guaranteed at all), I was getting mic audio into Thetis but it wasn't being modified by any of the controls in VM Hardware Input #1 (EQ,...

Re: cmASIO feature in Thetis 2.10.3.5 pre 3
I'm struggling to get mic audio from VM Potato into Thetis for TX. How can I get my condenser mic audio from Voicemeeter Hardware Input #1 into Thetis without using VAC1?

Re: cmASIO feature in Thetis 2.10.3.5 pre 3
Thanks, Scott - I was hoping I'd still be able to utilize VM Potato, as I'm using VMP's Hardware Input IntelliPan EQ and Reverb for tailoring my mic audio and I didn't want to give that up. One question, I haven't been able to find any Thetis mic audio level adjustment that works after I enable cmAU...

I used to have the Klipsch ProMedia II, great little speakers. I had them plugged into my computer and just sent the Anan audio to the computer via VAC.

Re: Competition for Pure Signal ?
Per Paul's (W9AC) post in that group, "With DPD engaged, the target ALC voltage at the ALC jack is replaced with a target sampled power or RF voltage level...Among other FAQ issues, what must be confirmed is the minimum and maximum level at the IC-7610 ALC jack with DPD activated." Not sur...

Ron,
I've always seen the same thing at my station, I just always assumed it was leakage/crosstalk internal to the Anan.

Re: Diversity Operations - RX2 protection while transmitting
Rafael, that's the question. Is the band pass filter really grounded? Can anyone on the forum verify that it is? Ron N4XD Reason dictates that there wouldn't be a "Gnd BPF2 on tx" checkbox if there was no functional selectable grounding. Regardless, there's an easy way to test: set TX pow...

Re: Diversity Operations - RX2 protection while transmitting
IMO the safest arrangement would be to have a configuration similar to N3GX's Isolator relay (see his illustration above), except that the relay type should be DPDT and the jumper feeding the Anan's PTT-IN should be actuated by the 2nd throw of the relay. That would be a fail-safe arrangement guaran...

Re: Red square, green square
If you could previously hear RX audio through your headphones but can't any longer, you've changed something in the VAC settings and need to revisit your VAC Settings page. I have a folder of screenshots of every Settings page so if I ever fat-finger anything I can get back to the configuration that...

Uninstalling Thetis does not delete the database. The updated Thetis session should retain your previous configuration.

Re: New G2 with display and problems
Mic audio sounding like a rushing waterfall is indicative of too much gain somewhere, perhaps Mic or Leveler or ALC Gain or Compression. Suggest you back all of your gains down, then start increasing them only as needed.

Re: Diversity Operations - RX2 protection while transmitting
JJ, Interesting that you should ask that, as early on I decided to add an extra layer of RX2 front end protection to my Anan. My RX2 antenna is a wideband receive-only mag loop assisted with an LZ1AQ amp mounted at the loop. I rigged up a DS2Y relay at the LZ1AQ amp that physically disconnects the l...

Re: TX Profile updates
Richie, I have a couple of feature requests, if doable:
1) Master AF slider controls VAC RX audio volume (not the same as "locked to RX1/RX2 AF sliders").
2) VAC2 Output enabled thru ASIO.
Thanks for everything,
Mark

Re: So Disappointed But I Rolled it Back. 7000 MK III To Protocol 1
Vin, I don't think your problem has anything to do with your antenna, IMO it's more likely related to RF grounding in the shack. My own antenna is a multiband dipole 40 feet directly above my shack, so all of my equipment is deep inside the near field of my antenna and is unavoidably being slammed w...

Update: Doug found a bad PA final in my radio, he replaced both finals and PS is working fine now on all bands.
Here's PS on 20 meters at 41 watts, internal sampler (curves are very similar at any power):
Thanks to everyone in this thread who offered their assistance.

I certainly wish we could find some work around for this problem. Terry GW4NNO You have it... Its Thetis 2.9.0.31 :D Steve's 2.9.0.31 (and 2.9.0.29) had a problem with AM RX audio, at least for me. I was hearing a 750-ish Hz tone in received AM/SAM audio. The frequency of the tone didn't vary but t...
