It is a bit easier to find things, but things are every where in setup and could do with a bit of a re-organise really. We are now able to get a popup for the IPv4 addresses on the computer as well.

Re: TCI with RF Kits RF2K amplifier

Ernst (oe3ide) tells me he does not have the amp, but included images he found in a manual. However, there is a pre-release on my gihub which adds options to emulate expert electronics radios. It may help and resolve the issue depending if the amp firmware looks for a specific radio/protocol. Please...

I have looked at the code again Norbert , and refreshed my memory on it as it has been a while. I will change it at some point to have a button to clear them, but it will take a bit to code the changes. I understand the frustration with it. I have added as an issue to github, so will be changed in n...

Re: TCI with RF Kits RF2K amplifier

If the firewall passes the check, then a few possibilities a) amp is expecting command that is not implemented in Thetis b) amp is expecting device name from Thetis to be sunsdr ( I could add a fake option in thetis easily enough) c) issue with TCI in firmware version you are using on the amp Richie.

Re: TCI with RF Kits RF2K amplifier

ok sounds like you have everything setup ok as long as you are using your PC ip and not 127.0.0.1 in Thetis TCI. Other than perhaps testing the firewall with the 'Firewall Check' button in Thetis setup-General-H/W Select. Failing that there is probably something missing in our TCI that the amp needs...

Setup process : 1) do you know the IPv4 address of your computer? You can find this by looking in windows network settings , or running ipconfig from cmd line prompt and making sure you use the correct ethernet adaptor. For example it might be 192.168.0.26 2) once you obtain the IPv4 address. then t...

127.0.0.1:13013 and server running. Just curious, 13013 is the default IP port for TCP/IP (set on CAT tab) and the default port for TCI is 50001 (set on User Interface tab). I originally had this confused when I was setting up, so just wondering if you re using TCP/IP CAT vs TCI CAT? yes good spot ...

I don't know Mike. Back tracking through the code they relate to byte 30 + 31 of the high priority status packet (1025) which are currently documented in the 3.8 manual as unused.

edit: I have not seen them change, perhaps debug/testing at some point, not sure.

yep Warren had made the differentiation between alc and alc group in his email to me, I just reworded slightly in parenthesis The “real” ALC meter will never exceed 0dB. What is the black box in the CFC window for? It is a very basic display of how much dB compression is being applied to the frequency range defined for the cfc. Re: Thetis 2.9.0 Released (updates--see first post)

Tapr releases

2.9.0.1 was missed out because I had used that for 22a

2.9.0.2 included the dll + windows7 changes but missed out the broadcast/split changes

2.9.0.3 included all from 2.9.0.2 plus the fixes for the Broadcast cat issue and the split duplication problem from my 22a

Just a heads up, v.2.9.0.3 was released over on TAPR last night. It is at exactly the same stage as my 2.9.0.1 22a release. It includes the fixes for the broadcast cat issue, os version check and the missing dll.

I did. It is probably VC143 (C++ 14.3 runtime) being installed as part of this version or the WiX installer needing to do something. Doug may know, but I do not have any experience of the WiX installer tbh.

Yes, the blue bands are there, no problem with that. But in previous versions the bandstack for 60M already contained 5 entries to let you skip through them easily. Not a big deal. is this accurate for the US? (the 2800 is bandwidth) us60m.png and these for region 2 ? region2_60m.png Richie.

The 5 channelized frequencies for 60M didn't make it either. Shows 5.354 only. Set and locked them manually in Band Stack. Did you have them set up previously in bandstack? The overlay (blue in my case) in the display is based on region and not linked to bandstack. In fact, if you change region, it...

yeah it is a jtdx TCI issue tbh. I've done loads of testing in 159, hammering split etc, and it crashes very easily. However, a test app in place of jtdx copes with it no problem.
