In my setup I do not use the RS232 PC port on the KPA500 (which KPA Util uses), but rather the RS232 XCVRm which requires the crossover cable.

Phil, it is the price to pay for a very high performance radio. Besides the DB backup I take screenshots of all the critical Setup screens.

If you cant recover you can simply delete your database and launch again. Of course it will be the default database and you can try to import the most recent DB you exported. Or simply rebuild by hand using your settings you annotated.

There are certain times such as integrating to a HF-Auto to follow Thetis using the W1TR's middleware.

I looked in the Thetis 1.1 Manual and there is a reference to Level Cal but not sure if that is what it is referring to and also points to a signal generator also and I'm guessing, injecting say a 1 kHZ signal into the antenna port for calibration. I find that a filter size of 8192 sounds very harsh when both stations are running RX/TX BW in the 3-4KHz range, and there are still some artifacts at 4096. But at 2048 it is very smooth. YMMV.

It will show up as a TX Profile once you import it.

You have a unique problem there. Have you fully purged all the files from Windows? ( C:\Program Files as well as AppData\Roaming)

Use the Import Database button to simply import just the TX Profile.

Just to confirm, when you get the EQ the way you want you then in Settings > Transmit > hit Save for the profile you are using??

Before I dumped my RF-Kits I had it fully CAT enabled with Thetis using a FTDI USB-USB cross over cable.

Do you have a 7000DEL now? It's easy to play with this using Task Manager and looking at Ethernet Performance.

Sample rate by far is the biggest item that changes it, this is what I see:

1 RX 192KHz 10.6Mbps
2 RX 192KHz 20.4Mbps

1 RX 1536KHz 77.1Mbps
1 RX 1536KHz 155Mbps
