Re: Quick situation update
Hey all, I thought I would post a quick message with a situation update. Everything is ok here personally, but I have taken the decision to spend summer doing 'summery' things and getting some much-needed exercise and fresh air. To that end my Thetis dev/tinkering work has completely stopped, I hav...

Re: Strange interference at VFO freq. solved with database reset
Living in a noisy environment I know that NB2 depending on the surrounding signals can also show the same or similar behavior. And from what I see in your video you had NB2 on. Regards Mike SV1JSO Hi Mke, I tried it with NB, NB2 on and off. I tried many other filters on or off including other thing...

Re: Strange interference at VFO freq. solved with database reset
Thanks Scott For clarification purposes I want to adjust my description of what I was seeing. I stated I was seeing the issue on a second SDR receiver I have. The was an incorrect statement. I was NOT seeing this on a second receiver. This issue plus all the lightning noise on the band blended toget...

Re: Strange interference with no antenna connected
When disconnecting antennas today I note a strange wide-band interference (images at the top for the 2 bands) when I have no antenna connected to the ANAN 7000 DLEMKII. Also, I can hear and see the same interference when I bypass the manual antenna tuner (Palstar) and I put the dummy load in the ci...

Re: Bad noise I can't identify
This is another situation where I should have waited before I reported a problem. I solved the problem by exporting and then resetting my database. I then imported the database I had just saved. The issue is completely gone. Bottom line. If you ever see this sort of issue. Try resetting the database...

Strange interference at VFO freq. solved with database reset
I am having an issue in Thetis 2.9.0.6. I'm running a 7000DLE mk2. The issue is a noise that seems to be centered in the panafall. The intensity is not always the same. It does get so bad that wipes out the entire band on the screen. At first I thought it may be something in our house. I have not tr...

Re: General question about Spectral Subtraction
Further research on the topic clarifies that NR2 is most definitely NOT spectral subtraction. Spectral subtractive algorithms are probably the simplest class of algorithms one might implement in the frequency domain, by far. While superior to time domain algorithms like LMS (least mean square, defi...

General question about Spectral Subtraction
Surrounding Noise Reduction (NR) and Noise Reduction 2 in Thetis. I've been reading a lot lately about Spectral Subtraction. Is this the process that is being utilized in Thetis for noise reduction? Simon Brown has stated that this is what he is using in SDR Console for noise reduction. When listeni...

Re: Thetis v2.9.0 - Updates and Issues
I'm not sure I'm seeing an issue or not. Let me expand. When I first installed 2.9.0.6 I set the spectrum bandwidth and right clicked the ZTB button for each band. Subsequently, when moving from one band to the next the spectrum bandwidth set earlier was retained when moving from one band to the nex...

2TON issue. The 2TON button looks good when I start Thetis, but when I click it, it changes to white on gray and stays that way, almost invisible. I am using the W1AEX skin. I looked in the skin directories and cannot find this graphic, it must be imbedded in the code. W2FMU2ton.PNG Hi Ernie. The s...

Frequency changes with resolution adjustments after transmit

What happens if you put the cursor on the title bar at the top and double-click?
Edit: I tried to duplicate this situation on my notebook and have had no success. I've tried different combinations of both the Thetis and notebook resolutions.

Richie,
Is there a particular file or files that the PA calibration settings are saved in? I'm already saving and backing up the Thetis directory and everything in the c:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\OpenHPSDR\Thetis-x64 directory.
