I don’t want to put anybody on the spot, but we were in QSO on 160 meters and a couple of us were considering a purchase of the 7000 black, when a regular jumped in cautioned us that there were at least two “documented” cases of P2 being flashed into a black edition and Thetis not working. Possibly a problem limited to a few late manufacture 7000’s, and that Doug is aware, and certainly not all radios are affected ..overheard in a discussion earlier this evening. It doesn’t appear that HRO is stocking any Apache equipment.

Nope. Pre 7 not working very well, SEQ errors occurring with regularity. Back to Pre 4, with good stability.

A few of us have observed a "TUNE" anomaly where a wide band spurious signal is transmitted in TUNE WHILE PURE SIGNAL IS ENGAGED. This behavior has been observed in "Pre Richie" versions of Thetis. It is infrequent, but when it happens....it is a wide nasty signal. Disabling PURE...

That post of the -ve seq was isolated to this evening. Nothing like it in prev firmwares or releases, and nothing since then.
In QSO on 160 meters with W1AEX NC3Z WU20, and did not notice or hear anything unusual until I saw the red triangle.

Saw this morning on 7000DLE 2.6.9 a4 (Pre4 Firmware))




My 7000DLE is directly connected to a dedicated NIC in my PC on its own subnet using a short Cat6 cable.

Although Pre1 was working very well for me, just an occasional SEQ error, Pre4 has been solid after several (6) hours of operation. Just one dropped packet, that I would not have noticed had it not been for the SEQLog alert.
