Yes Andy you do need to upgrade to protocol 2 firmware.

Roger that Scott , drivers making the most of USB 2 I think. Very straightforward installation and with the nice LCD display its easy to see whats going on level wise.

Just got the MOTU M4 interface to replace my UMC 204 unit. Really like it so far . I have the MOTU set at 96000 sample rate and 128 buffer , same for VAC 1. Its a lot easier to monitor my own voice now on Thetis for testing with so much less latency , some may even find it ok for QSO's too. https://...

Got this myself recently . I deleted the database (database.xml )in the thetis folder under App data then reinstalled Thetis using the last public release and then re imported my backup database . I also copied in Ramdors files as I'm not 100% sure they are incorporated into the latest public releas...

Maybe try JTDX and see does the same thing happen ?

Interesting, I see the ghosts both in power sdr and JTDX waterfall . I use Asio at 96000 sample rate . Must try a few different settings to see if it makes a difference. using NB definitely messes things up on strong signals . Glad you got your particular issue sorted out , food for thought, thanks.

Perhaps that pic is not a great example Scott but the images I speak of are 100 hz apart usually. On the transmission in the pic you can see this on the jtdx waterfall which I'll post next time i see a clear example.

Gary I'd be interested to see your NB settings if you have time . I definitely see issues when I have to engage Nb/NB2. I know your are not supposed to on digital modes but its so noisy here I've no choice at times.

I see this on strong signals on 6m also with NB off. I'll try grab a screenshot next time I see one

Ruben would it be worthwhile checking windows 10 power settings ? A recent windows update messed mine around but I did see an improvement when I changed back to high performance profile.

Thanks for the info Rob . I am connected to the primary ethernet socket but just checked and this is listed as Public . I cannot seem to find a setting to change it to private, is it just secondary NIC's that allow this or am I just missing where the setting is ?
