Re: AM Carrier Adjustments (Transmit Tab)
Ive found, that running 25w of carrier on AM with my 200d and 7000dle, the rig heats up pretty quickly. I wouldn't "old buzzard" at that carrier level. I run my 7000dle @ 10w of carrier, peaking around 65w, and make 5 minute transmissions regularly without it getting so hot I cant touch th...

Re: Changing Voltmeter
On my 7000DLE Mk1, P2 v2.1.18, Thetis 2.9.0, it fluctuates from 14.1vdc - 14.2vdc during RX. Power supply is rock steady. Voltage at the back of the radio is rock steady. I have a bout 8 feet of 10ga wire to the PS, which is a home-brew 100a switching supply. On transmit, it only fluctuates 1 tenth ...

I have this issue when not activating "VFO Sync" button after a SPLIT operation.
Will be nice to have an option to auto activate "VFO Sync" when going out from SPLIT.
This was the issue! Thanks!

Diversity issue with 7000dle mk1
SO, I'm having an issue with getting diversity to work on my 7000dle MK1 that I acquired a few months back. Alsoim using the latest official Thetis release. It worked flawless on my 200d. The issue I'm having is, it's like there is no antenna plugged into the RX2 jack on the radio, when there is. In...

Re: Issue after loading wrong firmware 7000DLE
I figured that out after I posted this. However, when I went to use the other programmer for protocol 1, and went to install the new firmware, in the middle of erasing it, it said "Power cycle and try again". So I power cycled the radio and now It wont discover the radio on either programm...

Issue after loading wrong firmware 7000DLE
So, this morning I went to update the protocol 2 firmware in my 7000DLE, but in my haste, I accidentally loaded firmware Orion_MkII_v2.7_k5so_5-4.rbf thinking that was latest, but apprenty its protocol 1. When I tried to run Thetis, it obviously didnt work. The prgram wouldnt even close down and i h...

I guess I cant even ask if there is a way to shut the pop up off When you start the program merely click it and it will disappear. Why are we forced to see it? And why are you deleting my posts? Just asking a question that I'm sure others are out there wondering tbe same thing. Doesn't seem quite f...

Re: New 200D Orion Protocol 2 Firmware Topic
I did NOT have good luck with the new firmware update on my 200D. First thing I did, and the only reason I wanted to try the new firmware, was test PureSignal. I use VOX on SSB, and noticed that right before the radio would unkey, (does this on PTT too), the panadapter data line will rise up on eith...

Re: Transmit oddity
Ive seen this before. I chalk it up to the same type of thing as "The Panadapter of Death" i call it. When you unkey and the RX panadapter goes all the way to the top and you can only hear static. But you can still be heard on TX.
Gotta love these rigs!

Sooooo, heres a weird one I just stumbled upon... I was using RX2(75m on RX1, 20m on RX2) this morning and accidentally hit the "SD" button on the GUI (Stereo Diversity) for RX2. What it did was weird. Now stick with me on this, its a little hard to explain. When i hit the SD button for RX...

here with my 200D if i switch the BPF switch to Bypass (on the Main-GUI), only the HPF is in Bypass, the LPF is still active !
Also bad for the Wideband-Screen.

thats because you have to check "6m/Bypass On RX". It will disable the LPF on 80m.

Where is the filter assignment screenshot? Setup > Ant/Filters > BPF (or whatever it is on the 200D, I forget). I figured it out Scott. In the HPF/LPF tab, I did NOT have 6m/bypass On RX checked. I do now, and things are normal under the same band conditions on VFOa and VFOb. Here are my current se...

Here ya go. Screenshot 2021-06-23 065829.png That "threshold" im talking about is at 5mhz. when I go above 5mhz, I hear a relay click inside the radio, and can watch the signals on rx2 drop at the same time. Also, Im not sure if this is any indication of whats going on, but when I cycle BP...

Re: No signals on RX2 when on separate band....
Yes i am running protocol 2, v1.9. and I am sharing ADC 0 with RX1. I temporarily tried hooking an antenna to RX2, set DDC3 to ADC1, and all worked as it should. I was able to be on 80m on RX1, 40m on RX2, and the signals on RX2 were in the expected range. But if DDC2 and DDC3 are sharing ADC0, thos...

No signals on RX2 when on separate band....
Thetis 2.8.11 64 bit. Latest firmware on my 200D as well. So, it seems that when I turn on RX2, and say RX1 is on 1.885mhz. If I turn on RX2 and go above 2.500mhz by even 1hz, signs on RX2 drop out completely. If say RX1 is on 3.885mhz, and I put rx2 on 4.001mhz, no signals on rx2. I've made sure I ...
